Virginia is For Lovers

For lovers, indeed!

It’s official, the Cruz family is now living in the Washington D.C. suburbs of Virginia! This will be our home for the foreseeable future until the time is right for us to move back West. For now, we plan on enjoying what’s left of our East coast adventures & our time in Virginia.

Jay & I made a “Virginia Bucketlist” of places to visit, things to do and restaurants we want to try, so without further ado:

  • See the Cherry Blossoms in Washington D.C.
  • Observe the Chincoteague Ponies in the wild
  • Stop & smell the roses at the National Arboretum
  • Walk amongst the tombstones at the Arlington Cemetery
  • Visit all of the National Monuments
  • Spend a weekend in Virginia Beach
  • Go wine tasting in Charlottesville
  • Take a cruise on the Potomac River
  • Visit Mt. Vernon
  • Spend the day at the National Zoo
  • Explore Georgetown
  • Go camping and/or hiking in Shenandoah National Park
  • Visit the Smithsonian Museum

Of course this is by no means an all-inclusive list, so if you have suggestions, I’d love to hear it!
