She Leaves a Little Sparkle

At the risk of being a braggart, I’d like to say, I am great at buying gifts for people. Throughout the year I try to make mental notes of gifts that my family & friends would like based on conversations we’ve had or things I’ve seen in the stores. Occasionally, my A-game is strong and I squirrel gifts or cards for Christmas or birthdays. (Toot, toot.)

Admittedly, I’m terrible at the actual gift-giving part of the process. There have been times where I’ve mailed Christmas gifts in July or have handed people a stockpile of cards from birthdays past. It’s the thought that counts, right? (This is where you nod your head in agreement.)

Let me reassure you, this is not one of those times. A few weeks ago, I was shopping at Kate Spade and found the perfect gift for Angela’s bridal shower. Unfortunately, I had to leave the store empty-handed since her size was out-of-stock, but I was able to order it in-store with free shipping. Score.

Watching Angie open her bridal shower gifts was so fun & exciting. It reminded me why I love giving presents in the first place: I love making people feel happy and special.

When I saw them in the store they had “Angie” written all over them; and I knew she had to have them. The joy on her face was worth every penny. I can’t wait to see her sparkle & dance her wedding night away in those shoes – July 1st can’t come soon enough!
