Post-Vacation Blues

Oh, Honey(s), I’m home!

The girls & I have been home for eight days now, but rejoining the real world has been difficult for me, to say the least. Do you ever get the post-vacation blues? Well, if not, it’s a real sickness; and I’ve got a bad case of it.

I’m so happy to be home with Jay & Reesie but, I miss…
– the clean, fresh air
– driving through narrow, tree-lined streets
– 10PM sunsets
– hanging with the girls

Most of all, I miss seeing this beauty from my bedroom window every morning.

As if it wasn’t apparent already, I’m a bit of a “glass half-empty” type of gal when it comes to vacations. I have a bad habit of counting down the days I have left as soon as the vacation starts. I know, I know, I’m nutty. I realize that I’m lucky to have spent ten awesome days there at all, but I just can’t help myself. In an attempt to relive my time in Ireland, I plan to bombard you all with tons and tons of pictures from our trip. Consider yourself warned.

I’m the same way in regards to counting the days left. When the vacation is over, I always wished that I had enjoyed the moment more or done more stuff. Hopefully you will get to go there again and do any thing that you you still want to do 🙂
