Mukilteo (mŭk′·əl·tē′·ō) is a quaint, little town located on the Puget Sound; and it serves as a gateway to Whidbey Island. There was time to kill before catching the ferry to Whidbey Island, so we decided to explore the beach and lighthouse.
The lighthouse itself was closed, but a we were allowed to walk around the grounds. After an impromptu family photo op, we made our way down to the beach so Reesie could run around.
